HMM Beautiful W Glass

The W Glass is a very special collaboration delivered from HMM and the W Glass Project. This unique vessel is carefully constructed by local Taiwanese craftsmen using recycled glass and painstaking attention to detail. Drawing inspiration from the life cycle we all engage in, the hour-based sections of a clock are transformed into 12 elegant glass angles with a mature, amber hue. This beautiful blend of warm shades and complex geometry create striking aesthetics through the interaction of light, glass and liquid. A practical heat-proof handle make this the perfect cup for warm and cold beverages alike.

Like other designs from HMM, the glass is expertly crafted by skilled artisans. In this case, local craftsmen who use recycle glass to shape each object to perfection. Using a glass-dyeing technique, they give the W glasses a beautiful amber color. As a result, the material creates a spectacle of light and color, enhanced further by the hue of the beverage. The glass handle is conveniently heat-proof and provides an easy way to hold a cup of hot coffee. Other practical features include the tapered bottom that allows the user to easily stack several glasses, and the circular, smooth interior that makes cleaning as easy as possible.
